Recently, Ministry of Environmental Protection issued Notice on Strengthening Supervision of Waste Gas Denitration Catalyst (hereinafter referred to as the Notice) to effectively strengthen supervision and administration on waste gas denitration catalyst (vanadium-titanium). Insiders believe that environmental protection stocks concerning denitration may usher in rise and market size of denitration catalyst regeneration is expected to exceed RMB 300 million during “the 12th Five-Year Plan” period according to estimate.
It points out in the Notice that management, regeneration and utilization of waste gas denitration catalyst (vanadium-titanium) will be managed as dangerous waste and that industrial source is “unspecified industry” and waste is named as “Waste Gas Denitration Catalyst (Vanadium-Titanium) in Selective Catalytic Denitration Process of Industrial Fuel Gas”.
It is encouraged in the Notice to give priority to regeneration of waste gas denitration catalyst (vanadium-titanium) and cultivate some utilizing and disposing enterprises to increase capacity of regenerating, utilizing and disposing waste gas denitration catalyst (vanadium-titanium) as soon as possible.
Insiders said that efforts of the state on management of utilization of denitration catalyst will provide policy support for disposal, utilization and regeneration of waste gas denitration catalyst (vanadium-titanium).
Currently, domestic market of denitration catalyst regeneration has not been officially launched and the technology is also in experiment and confirmation stage. There are only a small number of companies mastering and successfully promoting professional denitration catalyst regeneration technology around the world.
It is reported that LONGKING has started businesses on denitration catalyst regeneration at the end of 2012, with registration, establishment and other work of the joint venture company being completed currently. The business has been officially launched since 2013 jointly with US CoaLogix Corporation and steady cooperation between these two companies will be kept in the future. Insiders believe that environmental protection stocks concerning denitration in the two markets may rise owing to the policy of Ministry of Environmental Protection and suggest investors to pay proper attention to that and open a position gradually on the dips.
